Europe WWII Map Series by Morgan Hauser, Chris S, and others

This series depicts Europe during nearly the entire WWII era and its lead-up. It covers most of the major events of the war, starting with the pre-war German expansions. These maps use a slightly older version of the current UCS.

October 1, 1937

Europe prior to the Anschluss.

September 1, 1939

Just before the start of hostilities with the Invasion of Poland.

April 9, 1940

Prior to the launch of Operation Weserübung.

April 6, 1941

Nearly a year after the conclusion of the Battle of France and at the start of the Balkans Campaign.

June 22, 1941

The launch of Operation Barbarossa and the opening of the Eastern front.

December 5, 1941

Positions of the furthest German advances in Central Russia before the Soviet winter counterattack.

November 12, 1942

Europe at the territorial height of Axis domination. The immediate aftermath of Case Anton and in the midst of the Battle of Stalingrad.

March 1, 1943

Some time prior to the German drive for Kursk.

June 5, 1944

The launch of D-Day.

December 15, 1944

At the start of the Ardennes Campaign, also known as the Battle of the Bulge.
