A state in the southern part of North America, population around 100 million, with a bit more than that in the USA.

Mexico is not as widely known throughout the world as it is in its neighbour, the USA, and most other people know it vaguely as ‘that place with the tacos and sombreros, right?’.

Americans typically have two views of Mexico, often simultaneously held by the same people -

1. We should have annexed the whole damn thing, along with all its people, after the Mexican War
2. But there are far too many of them coming over here right now...

Mexico was also home to some of the more urbanised Native American civilisations, including the Maya and the (very much overrated in an AH context because they’re the one everyone has heard of) Aztecs.
